    Post-Implementation Review
    • Revisit the goals of the project - what were the original objectives? Which ones have been met?
    • Review current workflow processes with staff and management - What is working? What is not working? Where are the gaps in the processes that cause workflows to become inefficient?
    • What are the "barriers to success"? - What things stand in the way of the successful implementation?
    • Review the "boundaries" of the project with management - Time, money, people, political climate
    • What parts of the system are being used? Are they being used to their highest level of competence?
    • Evaluate the level of understanding of the system functions
    • Evaluate the educational requirements of the staff - is retraining appropriate?
    • Create a project plan with measurable outcomes to address open implementation issues
    • Develop internal staff to continue the post-implementation process - projects never truly end. Review must be ongoing.
    • Present "Best of Breed" models that have been successfully implemented in other locations and, if appropriate, utilize a rapid design approach to implement organizational changes.
